One (1) Vacancy on the Behavioral Health Commission

Purpose: The Riverside County Behavioral Health Commission (BHC) is an advisory body, composed of volunteers appointed by the Board of Supervisors, who work in conjunction with the Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health to ensure citizen and professional input and involvement in all aspects of Department Services. BHC members serve for a three-year term and are governed by the California Welfare and Institution Code §5604 and the Ralph M. Brown Act.

One (1) Vacancy on the In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee

Purpose: The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee meets four (4) times a year. As one (1) of eleven (11) committee members you will collaborate with the County of Riverside Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) regarding administration of the IHSS Program. Members are volunteers and are appointed to the Committee by the County of Riverside's Board of Supervisors. Members must be a past or present IHSS consumer or homecare provider and must commit to attending each of the four (4) meetings (September December, March and June).
