May 17-21, 2017 - Jurupa Valley Field of Honor
This annual display will honor all Veterans, Active Duty Personnel, First Responders, and those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our safety and country. The Rotary Club of Jurupa Valley is hosting this event in cooperation with the Jurupa Area Recreation and Parks District. All visitors will be able to walk through the Field of Honor free of charge. The entire community may participate by purchasing a flag to allow them to honor or memorialize their heroes.
April 8, 2017 - City of Riverside's Walk to End Homelessness
The City of Riverside Homeless Program was established to connect homeless individuals with social services and housing. The City has taken a pro-active approach to addressing homelessness in our community in partnering with a wide-range of non-profit organizations, social service agencies and faith-based institutions.
Free Tax Preparation Provided by CAP Riverside
CAP Riverside's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a free tax preparation program that helps low to moderate income filers. During tax season, there are FREE sites across Riverside County. All Sites are staffed by IRS Certified Volunteers.

January 21, 2017 - RivCoParks invites you to Rancho Jurupa's Annual Trout Fishing Derby
Calling all anglers! Cast your lines and get hooked into fun at Rancho Jurupa Park’s 11th Annual Trout Fishing Derby. Mark your calendar for Saturday, January 21, 2017, and get ready to try your luck at catching the biggest trout. Gates open at 6:00 am and the Trout Derby begins promptly at 7:00 am with final weigh-in at 12:00 pm. Along with terrific trout, great prizes are up for grabs! The lucky first, second and third place winners will take home prizes along with their bountiful haul. Not sure if you can reel in the big one? Not to worry; the smallest catch wins too!
